The "Mesh Voice" package works with Ethernet and wireless LAN, using soft-phones running on laptops and PCs, Ethernet and wireless VoIP phones. Incoming and outgoing calls are carried over the internet, so no phone lines are needed. The whole package runs on the LocustWorld MeshBox, providing wireless internet access and voice services in one inexpensive package.LocustWorld generate unique, secure accounts for each user of the system, and ship the whole package ready to plug in and go. Each user on the system has a unique account code and PIN, with their own extension, personalised voicemail, voicemail to email, call forwarding, itemised billing, Direct Dial In and outgoing call support. "Mesh Voice" customers can use any commercial Voice over IP gateway service for making calls to the public phone network, and all VoIP calls over the internet are free. As standard "Mesh Voice" comes ready to work over the Midas Telecom network supporting incoming and outgoing calls, and world-wide direct dial in numbers. Midas provide competitive call rates for outgoing calls. Direct dial in numbers let customers achieve telephone presence in any country without any call transfer costs. The system tracks call costs for every user, providing itemised billing and letting the operator give users varying calling rights, dependent upon their status. As part of the service LocustWorld provide telephone support for their primary customer contact to get the system up and running. Extensive documentation is available to help with ongoing maintenance and operations. Options for direct telephony interfaces, additional configuration, onsite services, training and ongoing maintenance and support are all available from LocustWorld. The operator can back-up all of their voice service settings using the configuration saver included in the package. "Mesh Voice" will run on a standard LocustWorld MeshBox. The MeshBox is an intelligent wireless router, widely used to provide wireless broadband internet and voice services.
